We offer a full complement of fishing tactics in our offshore trips, where your target could be three types of marlin, sailfish, dorado, or tuna, depending on the season and your taste. 1. Trolling with conventional tackle. 2. Trolling dead bait, mullet, ballyhoo, and mackerel. 3. Bait
and Switch. This is a lot of fun and involves more than one
angler. Here's how it works. We troll with three teasers, which are
flashy lures without hooks. When a sail or marlin comes up on one of
the teasers, one client picks up the rod and quickly reels in
the teaser. Meanwhile, a separate client feeds 4. Live bait fishing for giant yellowfin tuna. Whenever a large pod of porpoise are spotted, live bait is presented in front off the pod at about 60 to 80 feet below the surface. Within minutes a giant yellowfin swallows your bait whole without slowing down, instantly you realize that you have hooked onto a freight train! It is the fight of your life. These tuna run in schools that range from 80 to 300 pounds. It is not uncommon to get a double header with these giants. 5. Fly fishing for marlin, sailfish, dorado, tuna, and other offshore species.
6. Casting top water lures for sailfish? Yes, we troll teasers, and when the sail comes up on the teaser, then one angler reels in the teaser while the captain puts the boat in neutral. The angler casts a lure 10 feet or so behind the boat and gets to see the sail crash on the top water plug. A spectacular bite!! Our
