This self-sustained Eco Lodge is one of the most beautiful properties in ALL of Costa Rica. You owe it to yourself to experience this first-hand. It is nestled on 8 acres overlooking the beaches of the Pacific Ocean. You will fly in and out of town each day on a 10 minute flight to do your fishing. The scenery is spectacular.

The lodge is owner operated and gives new meaning to "comfort in the jungle". There is a great pool and hot tub, 2 large viewing decks, acres of beautifully manicured gardens, and more wildlife then you can imagine.

Your mornings start off with 3 different species of monkey's playing in the trees and the 2nd largest population of Scarlet Macaws in the world live and feed on this beach year round. Throughout the day you can be visited by any one or all of these... Toucans, Ocelots,
Jaguars, Coatimundies, Kinkajou's, Anteaters, Sloths, 800 different species of birds in the area and Blue Morfo Butterflies . .

The rooms are very nice and comfortable and there are four separate standing cabins available too. You'll love dining on the lower deck looking out over the ocean. About 6 months out of the year you can see whales migrating just offshore. Terry (the owner) has a fantastic giant telescope to look at the stars, the moon, and the Southern Cross with. The meals are outstanding and always fresh, with fresh baked breads and fresh fish and vegetables available year-round.

You can horseback ride on the beach. Giant Sea Turtles nest along this shore throughout the year, and at night you can walk the beach and witness them laying eggs and making their way back to the ocean. You can hike into the park, or kayak in a giant protected lagoon, or sea kayak in the surf, rappel down waterfalls, snorkel, OR lay by the pool in hammocks and drink margaritas. It is YOUR vacation. This place is like no other.

Package 2 - Pt. Jimenez

Puerto Jimenez is the largest town on the Osa Peninsula. The local residents include wild Scarlet Mccaws and White Face Monkeys.. (Keep your eyes open in town, you'll see them in the trees every morning.)

The town is located right on the shores of the scenic Gulfo Dulce. In recent years Pt. Jimenez has become a fun little place with everything you need ... restaurants and sodas, inexpensive hotels, 2 laundry services, 2 internet cafes, 4 grocery stores, a video rental store, a liquor store, a post office, and several gift shops. There is also a Disco the ROCKS on the weekends.

People from all over the world travel to this small town. It is THE jumpoff point for the world-reknown Corcovado National Park. Backpackers, campers, explorers and surfers who want to get close to Mother Nature come here all year round.

These comfortable bungalows are located right on the waters of the Gulf. When you're not fishing, you can swim or sunbathe on the beach or just relax and enjoy the shade under the palm trees in a swaying hammock. The accommodations are located a short 5 minute walk from downtown Puerto Jimenez on a quiet dead-end street. It's an easy stroll in to enjoy the nightlife and check your email. You'll have a chance to meet other travelers and locals alike and get the feel for the cultural flavor of this region of Costa Rica.

Package 3 - Playa Nicuesa Eco Lodge
"Where the Rainforest Meets the Sea"

Your excellent fishing experience will not be the only thing you'll write home about on this vacation. You will be stunned and amazed at this incredible new Eco Lodge located on a 165 acre private preserve.

Your front yard is the Gulfo Dulce. Your backyard is attached to the Piedras Blancas National Park which covers over 30,000 acres of protected pristine tropical Rainforest. This lodge a one of a kind! The only access is by boat!! It is a nature lover's dream.

As you approach the property by boat (a 30 minute ride from Pt. Jimenez) the first thing your eyes will focus on is the dramatic cliffs overlooking the beautiful beach and seashore. This side (the east side) of the Gulf is incredibly scenic and private. There are no roads...and no traffic.

This owner-operated Eco Lodge was built with one thing in mind... Environmental Preservation. The main level of the lodge is open-air and on the 2nd floor. This puts you at eye level with the surrounding canopy. This is where you'll find the bar & restaurant. You'll also have beautiful views of the Gulf and the surrounding mountain sides from here.

While on the 2nd floor, you'll truly appreciate the giant hardwood beams and planks used in the engineering of this gorgeous guesthouse. Note: Only felled trees were used during this construction. You can view exotic birds and wildlife from anywhere you sit and relax.

Three meals a day will be served by our chef, using only the freshest fruits and vegetables , and fresh local sea foods. You haven't lived until you have had a candle-light dinner in the jungle. The ambiance in the main room is incredible and so is the food.

Front Door Service is what we provide during your stay with us. We will pick you up when you arrive in Pt. Jimenez at the airport, and deliver you to the lodge (a 30 minute boat ride across the Gulf). The day of your departure, we will deliver you by boat, back to Pt. Jimenez and to the airport.

On your fishing days we will pick you up at 7am and drop you off at 3pm on your dock. (This is one, of only 2 lodges on the Gulfo Dulce that have their own private dock. It is a HUGE bonus!)

The accommodations include 4 beautiful, private bungalows and the Mango Guesthouse with 4 more bedrooms. We can sleep up to 20.

All rooms have canopied beds, ceiling fans, private terraces and private bathrooms with hot water showers.
